From Graduate to Growth Hacker at a B2B Digital Marketing Bureau
I had just graduated with a bachelors in marketing and I wanted to venture into the digital world. The Growth Hacking traineeship at The Talent Institute had the perfect offer at the right time.
The people that work at The Talent Institute are all young and motivated, and they all have similar goals. Everyone has a different background though — some people just graduated, others left their previous job or are curious to know what the traineeship has to offer. Still, in a way, we aim for the same, which makes me feel empowered and more confident.
I’m currently still working at my traineeship company, WINNRS. The Talent Institute has had a great influence on my time here since they provided me with the skillset and taught me how to put it in practice effectively. Since I joined the company, I have developed so much. Things I originally had no idea about in the business, I am now able to take full responsibility of and also improve along the way!
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work. - Judith Rasch.
What is the biggest takeaway from your time at the Talent Institute?
That you need to trust the process. You learn so much in such a short period that it can be a bit overwhelming. It’s okay to feel insecure. As long as you remember what you’re capable of and explore what you can improve or develop.
Marketing firms are mostly traditional companies. If you want to make a difference, you need to push for innovations. This stimulates entrepreneurship. There are so many different strategies, and so many different people to persuade. It can make you feel insecure at times, but as I said before, you just have to trust the process.
